Updated : New Link Thumbnail Goodness

By Chris LoSacco

Link Thumbnail is one of our most popular tools, and we thought we should let you know that we just made it better by leveraging a new thumbnail service called WebSnapr. WebSnapr is better for two reasons: the screenshots are bigger, and if a requested thumbnail doesn’t exist, it will make one for you – in a few seconds! Very nice. Head over to the lab page to see an example of the new service in action, download v2.0, and enjoy.

    Hi!

thanks a lot for the great javascript which helps to show a thumbnail when the maus goes over a link.

I find it is great and i would like to use something very similar! i would like to show a thumbnail with a link when the maus goes over a picture, not over a link but over a picture or over an area of a picture.
I am able to make areas of my picture and use them to link to other pages, now i would like not only to link directly, but to show a thumbnail, when the user moves the mouse over the picture.
    Is this posible?

I have been trying to change the javascript but so far as i am a beginner in javascript my atepts were not succesfull.
I would be very happy about any suggestion for this!
