I’m a big fan of visual language. It was the motivation behind the sketchcast concept and I think we’ve used it to good effect in pitching the value proposition behind Kindling, our idea management application.

I think a hallmark of using visual language effectively is really empathizing with and knowing your audience. Jonathan’s video is so effective because he goes to great lengths to illustrate concepts that most would otherwise gloss over. By not taking anything for granted, Jonathan creates a tone that educates and entertains without seeming condescending. Beautifully done.
